Russian Tea
7 and 1/2 cups of water 4 tea bags 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of whole cloves 2 cups of sugar 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice 2 cups of orange juice 2 cups of pineapple juice
Bring water to a boil. When water comes to a boil lower the heat to simmer and drop in the tea bags, the whole cloves (tied in a cheese cloth if you have one), and let them steep for fifteen minutes. Remove tea bags and strain or remove cloves. Add sugar and cinnamon, mix thoroughly. Add lemon juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice to taste.
This makes a great warm Christmas time beverage as well as an iced tea for summer. I was warned that if you make this in the summer to shut your windows and doors because it attracts the honeybees something fierce.
